DAY 01 AREQUIPA / COLCA
Leaving hotel by surface. We will start our trip to one of the deepest Canyons in the World, by the Yura road, passing the Chachani Volcano and through Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas), an ideal place for Vicuñas (South American camelids whose fibre is one of the finest in the world).
The Pampas de Tojra is an ideal place for bird-watching because of its vegetation. We will also visit Chucura (an ancient volcano). We will stop at the “Mirador de los Volcanes” the highest point in the road (4900 m.a.s.l.) where we will appreciate the “Cordillera Volcánica del Sur” (South Volcanic Mountain Chain).

Lunch in Chivay and overnight stay in Chivay.

DAY 02 COLCA / AREQUIPA
Breakfast very early in the morning. After breakfast we will visit “LA CRUZ DEL CONDOR”, where we will be able to appreciate the flight of the Condors and the Colca Canyon with its majestic profundity. Visiting the nearby villages such as Achoma, Coporaque and Maca, we will make our way back to Arequipa.
